Manchester Arena has worked with Raymond Weil since 2015 on building the luxury watchmaker’s partnership with live music.
Following the success of its Official Timing Partner sponsorship deal, the venue and watchmaker began to explore in-venue opportunities to bring to life the brand’s Music Icons series of collaborative timepieces.
In spring 2018, the venue opened The Music Icons Bar – the watchmakers first ever in-venue entertainment space.
Alongside showcasing heritage collaborations with David Bowie, The Beatles and Gibson guitars, The Music Icons Bar is used by the watchmaker as their VIP launch space for new products, including the yet-to-be-revealed AC/DC timepiece.
When not being used for product launches, The Music Icons Bar is open as an additional pre-show hospitality space for concertgoers.
