Kylie returns to her No 1 venue Phones 4u Arena Manchester

Nearly 400,000 concertgoers have seen Kylie at the Arena since her first ever appearance way back in 2000. Here we take a look back over Kylie’s incredible 29 performances at Phones 4u Arena Manchester.

2000 – Kylie gets a first glimpse of her adoring Manchester fans after joining Robbie Williams on stage for the hit single Kids as part of the former Take That star’s solo Phones 4u Arena show.

2001 – Kylie scoops two awards at the first ever Top Of The Pops awards in the TV show’s original Manchester hometown before going on to perform her iconic hit song Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.

2002 – Kylie brings her debut headline UK arena tour, Fever, to Manchester in May for six sold-out performances.

2005 – Kylie’s flamboyant Showgirl World Tour rolls into town for five nights in April to celebrate the release of her 2005 greatest hits double album Ultimate Kylie.

2007 – After spending two years touring the world with Showgirl, Kylie picks Phones 4u Arena as the final venue for the tour declaring “Manchester has always welcomed me so much and it will be great to end the tour there”.

2008 – The following summer the princess of pop is back in town with her X World Tour showcasing her brand new dance inspired tracks 2 Hearts and Like A Drug over a six-night run of shows.

2011 –Kylie returns for four sold-out shows as part of her Aphrodite Les Folies World Tour and Manchester’s Kylie fans gets to hear the hit singles Closer and All The Lovers for the first time.

2014 – After a three year break Kylie will return to Manchester this September to celebrate the release of her 12th studio album Kiss Me Once, released last week to huge critical acclaim.
