Title:                Catering Executive

Reporting to:  Head of Food & Beverage
Location:         first direct arena
Hours:             48 hours per week

Main Purpose:
To assist in the smooth running of the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring service standards are maintained and control systems are adhered to in accordance with statutory regulations. Ensuring the facility is operated efficiently and in line with budgets and that the highest standards of customer service are achieved.

The Role:
• Entry and submission of payroll
• Assist with staff queries regarding payroll and recruitment
• Cash reconciliation and floating up of up to 78 tills
• Change ordering and banking of sales
• Recording event sales
• Create and submit invoices to finance after an event
• Liaising with Finance team to reconcile banking/sales and invoices
• Liaising with Marketing to update event bookings for Suites/Premier Lounge and FD Bar
• Assist with event set up
• Assist with management of Hospitality and/or Retail areas.
• Entering stock count figures from all F&B areas
• Assist F&B team with Purchase orders and placing orders
• Inputting Eatec stock system
• Attend weekly F&B meetings and take notes/action points
• Collate weekly wage forecast from Management figures to strict deadlines
• Keep legible records of all paperwork for Audit purposes
• Assist with casual staff recruitment and training plans
• Assist with administrative duties across the F&B department
• Any other reasonable duties that may arise from time to time

Essential Skills & Competencies:
• Experience of working in a similar environment, ideally within the entertainment/leisure industry is desired
• Have previous team leader, supervisory experience.
• Be able to work to deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work in a team
• A desire to develop their career

Additional Points:
• Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to work week-ends and evenings and public holidays.
• On the job training, development and management support will be given.
• There will be requirement to work at other SMG & CGC venues.
