Odyssey Arena

Belfast

Opened in December 2000, Odyssey Arena Belfast is a multi-purpose indoor venue hosting concerts, shows, sports events, exhibitions and conferences. The Arena is the largest indoor venue in Ireland, offering flexible capacities up to 10,000.

In its short history the venue has hosted a vast array of world class events including concerts by Elton John, Oasis and Lionel Richie, shows including Mamma Mia!, Riverdance and Disney on Ice, and sports events including the 2001 World Amateur Boxing Championships, Supercross and Masters Soccer. The Arena is also the home venue for the Belfast Giants ice hockey team.

The Arena's exhibition facilities include up to 3,700m² of pillar free space with 22m clear ceiling height. For conferences seating capacity is flexible up to a maximum of 8,500.

The Arena is part of the extensive Odyssey Centre, Northern Ireland's Landmark Millennium Project, which also incorporates W5 - a hands-on science centre, IMAX Theatre, multi-screen cinema, restaurants and night clubs.
