Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, Thomas Puy-Brill earned his Bachelor’s Degree, studying Media Sciences and Communications. Since 1996—even before its opening—he has been involved with the König-Pilsener-ARENA in Oberhausen. He served first as Marketing and Sales Manager. In 2001 he became the Event Management Director of SMG Entertainment, Deutschland GmbH. In 2008 Thomas took over the SMG Science Center Services division as Executive Director. SMG Science Center Services currently operates the Odysseum Cologne and the Maritime Science Center in Kiel (opening 2011).
